Formation of AISCCON
We are “All India Senior Citizens’ Confederation” (AISCCON), in existence since 2001, the largest senior citizens organisation in India.
We are cultivating a purposeful and dignified life with care and love for Senior Citizens. AISCCON is an Apex body of affiliated senior citizens forums, associations & federations in over 25 States of India.
AISCCON has been honoured by the Government of India with “Institutional Vayoshreshtha Samman – 2012’. We operate through an elected body every three years and maintain central council representatives from the majority of its affiliated organisations. We are thus a collective voice of seniors' concerns in India. Through our affiliated forums, associations and federations, we have an outreach to over 2 million senior citizens, the majority in rural India.

International Day of Older Persons
We are happy to share a press briefing note. As you are aware, Shri Raina ji takes over as President of AISCCON from October 1st, 2025, which happens to be the International Day of Older Persons. For this important day, Shri Raina ji has appealed for two critical points 1) restoration of railway concessions for seniors and 2) a separate ministry for senior citizens of India.
प्रिय सभी केंद्रीय परिषद सदस्यों और AISCCON परिवार के सदस्यों, हमें एक प्रेस वार्ता साझा करते हुए खुशी हो रही है। जैसा कि आप जानते हैं, श्री रैना जी 1 अक्टूबर, 2025 से AISCCON के अध्यक्ष का पदभार ग्रहण करेंगे, जो कि वृद्धजनों का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस है। इस महत्वपूर्ण दिन के लिए, श्री रैना जी ने दो महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं की अपील की है: (1) वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए रेलवे रियायतों की बहाली और (2) भारत के वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए अलग मंत्रालय।
